David Stone, Founder of the David Stone Family Endowment

David Stone is a financial advisor at Stifel and the founder of the David Stone Family Endowment at Clemson University. Created in 2019, the endowment grants scholarships to students at Clemson. David Stone is an alumnus of Clemson, having earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics and his MBA. He was also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honors Society and Beta Theta Pi fraternity at Clemson.

Mr. Stone’s connection to Clemson is a family affair: his daughter and son are both currently studying at the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, while his oldest daughter graduated from the university and continues to strongly support it. Besides endowing scholarships, Mr. Stone also supports Clemson students and alumni by mentoring those interested in careers on Wall Street.
